So I'm getting signed up for unemployment benefits since the HR person who let me go stated that my work would not contest my signing up for benefits. Plus they extended my health insurance by a month (and I don't mean COBRA) and paid out two weeks of vacation when I only had one accrued.
The whole thing seems like some strange game with weird, mutant chess pieces.
