Airports

Okay, how familiar is that sight? Or maybe more memorable filled with people and luggage going round and round.

I'm waiting at baggage claim for my mother who just flew in from Kentucky. I really miss the days when non-ticketed folks were allowed to meet their people at the Gate. Remember *those* days?

Those were not the days of sitting in the baggage claim area listening to airport-wide announcements, "The Homeland Security threat level is Orange."

Christ, the baggage conveyor just started up and scared the crap out of me and my mom just walked up too so I must go.
