Eddie Izzard

So recently I was introduced to the comedian Eddie Izzard. I had heard the name before and then he was also in Across the Universe doing the Beatles song, Being For the Benefit of Mr. Kite!:

And tonight Mr. Kite is topping the bill.

Very strange. And apparently the lyrics have been changed a bit for the rendition in the movie.

So apparently Eddie Izzard is a British Transvestite stand-up comedian. Yes, a rather strange combination. More on him in the next post.
